A large, heavy and impressive firgure of Augustus III on horseback with the mark of blue underglazer interlaces C's, the mark for Ludwigsburg porcelain manufactory in Germany in the 18th and 19th century. This figure, however, was most likely made by one of the better German or French makers in the later 19th Century. It is after the Meissen porcelain monument modeled by JJ Kandler in 1754. This figure is of very high quality in both modeling and decoration
