A 19th century figure of Europa and two other scantily clad maidens with "The Bull", which is bedecked with a floral garland. Blue underglaze crossed swords. Designed by J.J Kandler at Meissen in 1759. Europa was originally a cretan moon goddess who was incorporated into Greek mythology as a virgin Phoenician princess and Europe was named after her.
